The legs slid into place and the zippers were secured to ensure security. It took her around 10 minutes to put together and didn't require tools, with clear instructions and a video as well as a customer support number if you encounter any issues.

Our testers appreciated the ease of use offered by the side panel which can be moved upwards and down with one click of a switch. This was a huge benefit during night time feeds because it meant they could reach into and take their baby away without disturbing them.
It is possible to lower the side panel by itself, but this isn't recommended, since it increases the likelihood that your child could fall out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism means that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the parent's bed correctly. The conversion kit for cots (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you need to start. It took us an hour to put together and was surprisingly simple. The only issue was the absence of written captions on a few of the images, which made it difficult to understand some of the steps.
